Jackstraw Studio, located in Calgary Canada, is home to Hellen Beamish, a fibre and multi-media artist. Hellen works with textiles and uses a variety of techniques for creating her painted silk clothing, wall hangings and accessories. This website is a portfolio of some of her projects.

Lately, Hellen’s hand painted silk has moved her in a new direction. A collection of small painted silk ‘impressions’ are framed and ready for hanging. These ‘Images On Silk’ reflect the glorious colors and forms across Canada, from the Rocky Mountains to the Islands of the St. Lawrence River.
